Itinerary

DAY 1: Cusco- Pitumarca - Rainbow Mountain

Early Morning Pickup

We will pick you up directly from your hotel in Cusco between 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., beginning our journey toward the southern Andes.

Drive to Cusipata – Breakfast

After a scenic 1 hour and 30-minute drive, we arrive in the town of Cusipata, where you will enjoy a buffet breakfast to prepare for the adventure ahead.

Journey to Osefiña – ATV Base

We continue traveling by vehicle for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the town of Osefiña, home to the Red Valley ATV station.

ATV Training & Safety Briefing

At an altitude of 4,600 meters (15,092 ft), you will receive a full ATV safety briefing and driving instruction from our professional guides before starting the ride.

ATV Ride through Red Valley

Begin an exciting 30-minute ATV ride ascending through the stunning Red Valley, surrounded by dramatic landscapes and colorful mountains, until reaching the main viewpoint at 5,100 meters (16,732 ft).

Guided Hike to Rainbow Mountain

From the viewpoint, we start a 20–30 minute hike, passing through the best panoramic viewpoints of the Red Valley, eventually arriving at the iconic Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca).

Free Time at Rainbow Mountain

Enjoy free time to explore, take photos, and admire the vibrant natural colors of Rainbow Mountain and the surrounding Andean scenery.

Return Journey

Afterward, we hike back to the ATV area and descend by ATV to the parking lot, where our vehicle will be waiting.

Lunch in Cusipata

We return to Cusipata to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.

Return to Cusco

After lunch, we drive back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:00 p.m.
