Itinerary

DAY 1:Cusco – Cusipata – Combapata – Quehue – Puente Q'eswachaka – 4 Lagunas

Our day tour in Cusco begins with the transfer to the respective hotels between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m. and we head towards the south valley of Cusco. On the way we will pass through some of the small traditional villages of the region. Our first stop will be in the village of Cusipata, where we will have a delicious breakfast. Then we start our journey to the viewpoint of Combapata.

Next we will stop at the Mini Volcano of the Pavilions and pass through Yanaoca, one of the eight districts of the province of Canas and one of the tourist attractions of Cusco. We then continue for another hour to Qeswachaka and arrive in the Quehue district, where we will find the famous Inca bridge of Q’eswachaka, built with vegetable fibre, 28.67 metres long and located at an altitude of 3600 metres. We will descend in a series of zigzags that will take us to the valley of the Apurimac River, where the ancient bridge will slowly come into view.

We will have plenty of time to get to know this tourist destination of Cusco and part of the Apurimac Canyon. After visiting the Inca bridge, we continue to Mosoc Llaqta, the site of the house of Tupa Amaru II. After a guided tour, we will go to the circuit of the four lakes: Pampamarca, Asnacqocha, Acopia and Pomacanchi. Afterwards, we will drive 15 minutes to Cusipata, where we will have our buffet lunch.

Our day tour in Cusco ends with a scenic drive by private transportation to the city of Cusco, where we arrive around 17:00.
